The Green Point Accomodation Association offers the full spectrum of accommodation types ranging from Self Catering, Bed and Breakfasts (B&Bs), to five star Guest Houses. Well sited for the Business , leisure or tourist traveller, Greenpoint offers a selection of types of places to stay : there are the traditional or more sophisticated Bed and Breakfast establishments, the Guest Houses, or Lodges. These have their own unique quality and ambience as well as an alternative to the established hotels. There are also self-catering establishments and those that provide conference facilities.

Situated between the V&A Waterfront and Signal Hill, Green Point is the focal point of the Capes gay scene.
